SUMMARY:HOW SCREEN TIME AFFECTS KID’S BRAIN DEVELOPMENT
DESCRIPTION:We all know that too much time in front of a screen has health and well-being implications\, including\, social\, emotional\, cognitive\, and physical aspects. But how does too much screen time actually affect our children’s brain development\, what is even considered “too much” and how do we manage it effectively? \nWe are thrilled to welcome Dr. Tzipi Horowitz-Kraus from the Technion. Tzipi is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Educational Neuroimaging Center in the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology and at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. She is also an Associate Professor of Paediatrics and Neuroscience and the Scientific Director of the Reading and Literacy Discovery Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center\, Ohio\, USA.
